In France, this Rosace, also called Rosette, often made of ribbons, is one of the emblems of the French Revolution and then of the Republic. The washer in the Blue White Red colors of the national flag, is often worn on the hats of revolutionaries, called Phrygian cap or at heart level. This symbol of patriotism is present everywhere in the History of France as in Art, through figures such as Napoleon, Robespierre, Olympe de Gouges, Lafayette, Marianne, Gavroche…
A little piece of history!
To offer as a gift, to treat yourself, to decorate, to wear during historical reenactments, national or patriotic events, July 14th national holiday, football matches, Olympic Games, town halls, parades, costume parties... In short, there are plenty of occasions to celebrate by wearing it!
(For information, the American roundel is the same except for the USA Air Force where the colors are reversed, as for the British roundel, available on my store).
